final change

My first final idea was a bit difficult to pull off because of people schedule and the limited time they had to model for me so after reading the glass menagerie, I came up with my next idea. My mom has a number of glass figurines in our living room so I picked one up and pt it against a light, the colors changed and look pretty interesting. Then I took a flash light and placed it in the dark, therefore my final project is gonna be a number of glass figurines in different light sources.

Jeff Wall Contrast

In Jeff walls flooded grave, many pictures were composite to make one complete picture. Another of his work that I find similar is story teller, it looks like to me that its made up of about 5 main pictures. The bridge, under the bridge, the green grass, the black grass, and the trees on the right. The people also look included into this composite. These two are similar because they seamlessly natural and looks like a straight photograph. The flooded grave is the best example. the only thing in this picture that looks composite is the reef, but the surrounding area looks very natural because most graves look like that.During my viewing of the exhibit, I realized that because of the large size, it is harder to see the compositions.

Happiness faces, sad pockets

For the happiness project, I wanted to bring out the idea of paying for happiness and if its really worth it. This is not a negative attack on the happiness course, but I think it should be well looked at by student before they shell out big money for such a course.

Photographer

Being Druves photographer was a bit odd, because I don't think he was sure of what he wanted. I asked him his idea, but it still looked like a work in progress for him. In any case he had a general idea of what he wanted, one person giving someone else happiness through the happiness class. Then he later changed his idea, so we started shooting his second idea. His second idea was a posted signed up sheet for the happiness class and a group of college students waiting to sign it.
Over the photo shoot wasn't very stressful, I was able to express my ideas to a certain extent and I think he was over all happy with the pictures I took.

tech lounge

Ideas:
1) A person can be holding a design portfolio with different ports on it. Such as a USB port, firewire, and ethernet network port.

2) A person using the lounge (not showing them on the computers) with a number of wires running up her or his jeans (just howing the jeans). Can have one person or a couple in the same frame with the wires up thier legs.

Happiness

Idea 1:
A picture of a student holding there degree, nose down smiling or not smiling. On the degree, it has a smiley face stamp on it with the words "degree on happiness".

Idea 2:
A picture of a program or semester bill, with a list of other classes, but one section is just a smiley face, with the price of the class next to it. example, [English - $300]
[ :) - $500 ]
[Math - $250]
