Jeff Wall Contrast

In Jeff walls flooded grave, many pictures were composite to make one complete picture. Another of his work that I find similar is story teller, it looks like to me that its made up of about 5 main pictures. The bridge, under the bridge, the green grass, the black grass, and the trees on the right. The people also look included into this composite. These two are similar because they seamlessly natural and looks like a straight photograph. The flooded grave is the best example. the only thing in this picture that looks composite is the reef, but the surrounding area looks very natural because most graves look like that.During my viewing of the exhibit, I realized that because of the large size, it is harder to see the compositions.

Interesting that you think it is harder to see at the exhibit. I do think the large size makes for a very different experience then viewing a small image online.
