From the past two weeks, this is my best photo. It is my best photo because of the placement of the soldier in relation to the wide angle shot. Also, because the elbow was so close to the camera, it wasn't focus so it feels like your right next to the soldier. The cool blue of the lighting also gives me options on where I can put the solider, either in the snow or desert.

Karl Blossfeldt: leaf
In this photograph by Karl Blossfeldt, the lighting placed on the leaf helps bring out very fine details and shadows.The even tone background also enhance the object by creating a very strong contrast against the leaves, but also gives it a soft blend against the stem. The composition is also interesting, with an up close view of the leaves that's witnessed but that eye.
